Ashfak Alam Pronoy is currently working as a Research Assistant at Research and Policy Integration for Development (RAPID). He holds a bachelor’s (BSS) degree in Economics from the University of Dhaka. He previously worked at BRAC Institute of Governance and Development (BIGD) as a Research Intern and at Unnayan Onneshan as a Research Assistant under the supervision of Dr. Rashed Al Mahmud Titumir. His research interests largely revolve around financial market, inequality and social mobility, and the political economy of redistribution preference.
