His work specialises in labour economics and employment diagnostics, with expertise in wage inequality, the gender wage gap, informality, and labour force participation. He has performed econometric analysis and authored working papers and policy briefs on Bangladesh's labour market, including its gendered real wage collapse and persistent gender earnings gap. This focus is complemented by research in gender and development, climate finance, and renewable energy, developed through experience as a Research Intern at SANEM on nationally and internationally collaborative projects covering energy transition, climate finance, inflation, and economic security. He possesses strong expertise in data analysis and visualization, with applied command of Stata, R, and Python in policy-oriented research. Beyond research, Hasin demonstrates proven leadership and communication skills, having served as Team Leader of Bangladesh at the 20th South Asian Economics Students' Meet (SAESM) and held multiple leadership roles across academic and extracurricular platforms, including competitive debating and research coordination.
