করোনা সংকটে ক্ষতিগ্রস্ত ব্যবসায়ী মোঃ ওবায়দুল্লাহ। বেডিং স্টোর পরিচালনা করে আসা এই ব্যবসায়ী জানান আগে বিভিন্ন মাসে এক লক্ষ থেকে দেড় লক্ষ টাকার বিক্রি হত। তার তুলনায় বর্তমানে বিক্রির পরিমাণ ৪০-৫০ হাজারে নেমে এসেছে। খরচ বাঁচাতে গ্রামে পাঠিয়েছেন পরিবারকে।

আগে ছয়টি বাসায় কাজ করলেও এখন মাত্র দুটি বাসায় কাজ রয়েছে। মাসিক আয় ৬০০০-৭০০০ টাকা থেকে ২৫০০-৩০০০ টাকায় নেমে এসেছে জানান গৃহপরিচারিকা রোজিনা।
This economic downturn thus could have a disproportionately larger impact on Bangladesh's exports. The emerging evidence seems to suggest new orders from the largest buyers (global chains and brands) to be about 30 per cent of the 'normal' level.

বৈশাখ এবং ঈদ মিলিয়ে অন্যান্য বছর ১০-১২ লাখ টাকার পণ্য বিক্রয় হলেও এই বছর ব্যবসা কার্যক্রম বন্ধ রাখতে হয়েছে বলে জানিয়েছেন সামাজিক উদ্যোক্তা ডালিয়া রহমান।
