Lubaba Binth Halim is an aspiring researcher with a strong academic background in economics. She earned her Bachelor’s degree in Economics from the University of Dhaka, graduating at the top of her class with a CGPA of 3.99 out of 4.00. She is currently pursuing a Master’s degree in Economics at the same institution. Her Master’s thesis examines the impact of climate change on child labor and schooling decisions in rural Bangladesh. Her research interests lie in applied microeconomics and development economics, with a focus on poverty, unemployment, education, health, gender dynamics, and climate change. She has two publications in peer-reviewed student journals and has presented one of her research papers at an international conference. Lubaba possesses strong quantitative and analytical skills, with proficiency in STATA, Excel, and geospatial analysis tools. Her research aims to support evidence-based policymaking that promotes inclusive development.
