Professor Mohammad Anisur Rahman is a Health Economist and Health Policy Analyst in the Department of Public Health at California State University, Fresno. He is also a Senior Research Fellow at Central Valley Health Policy Institute in Fresno California. Prof. Rahman specializes in efficiency analysis of health care organizations using Data Envelopment Analysis and cost analysis using quantitative research methods and econometric modeling and forecasting. He has experience conducting operations research in Bangladesh, which included developing instruments and implementing, monitoring and evaluating health care service delivery programs in various capacities. Earlier in his career he worked at a number of research organizations including the USAID funded Operations Research Project at the International Center for Diarrheal Disease Research, Bangladesh (ICDDR,B)  where he was an Operations Researcher. Later, he served as a Consultant for Maxwell Stamp Plc. and Research Economist for Health Economics Unit in the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare of the Government of Bangladesh. Prof.  Rahman received his MSP and Ph.D. degrees in Health Policy from Heller School for Social Policy and Management at Brandeis University in Massachusetts and pursued his undergraduate and graduate degrees in Economics from the University of Dhaka in Bangladesh.
