Mashnur Rahman is an emerging researcher in Economics with a strong academic background from North South University, where he completed his Bachelor of Science (BSc.) in Economics and is currently pursuing research-based postgraduate studies. His research interests lie at the intersection of Development Economics, Poverty, Social Protection, Gender Equity, and Climate Resilience. He has served as a Research Assistant in the Department of Economics, contributing to empirical projects on climate vulnerability and urban poverty. As the lead author of "The Current Scenario of Multidimensional Poverty in Dhaka's Slum," he examined critical development challenges in urban Bangladesh. Mashnur’s experience spans survey design, focus group discussions, data analysis, and academic writing. He is proficient in STATA, R, and Excel, and leverages these tools to conduct rigorous socio-economic analyses. With a strong foundation in Microeconomics, Macroeconomics, and Environmental Economics, Mashnur aspires to produce policy-relevant research that promotes inclusive and sustainable development.
