Farah Marzan is an MBA graduate from North South University, Bangladesh with major in finance. She has 19 months experience of working closely with 1300 garment workers across the country. Her responsibilities include monitoring workers’ weekly financial transactions to generate high frequency data on income, expenditures and financial tools; which aids in the analysis of the living standard of garment workers in Bangladesh. Earlier, she worked as a research associate under the direct supervision of Dr Mohammad Abdur Razzaque on “Identification and Review Towards the Development of a Labour Market Information System (LMIS)”. Before that, she gained corporate experience as an intern in Trust Bank Limited (TBL), Bangladesh in micro finance and credit division, where credit (Repair and Reconstruction of dwelling house-RRDH) services were provided to low-income households. Overall, she has attained around three years of experience working in both corporate and academic/research settings.
