Emran Hasan is an Assistant Professor of Economics at Bangladesh University of Professionals. He completed his Bachelors and Masters in Economics from the University of Dhaka with outstanding academic credentials. He has been working extensively on socio-economic development, health inequalities, social insurance, migration, international trade, and LDC graduation. Over the past few years, he has worked in many projects commissioned by different national and international organisations including, amongst others, UNDP, ILO, UNESCAP, and Bangladesh Enterprise Institute (BEI). Moreover, Mr. Hasan has published high-quality research articles in several peer-reviewed international journals.
