Chowdhury Lamia Tarik is a graduate student of Economics at East West University, Dhaka, currently pursuing an M.S.S. in Economics. She holds a B.S.S. in Economics from East West University, Dhaka. During her B.S.S. program, she worked with the Institute of Water Modeling (IWM), Dhaka, to project water demand under the Dhaka Water Supply Master Plan Update. She also worked on the CoxDA Master Plan, Cox’s Bazar, Bangladesh. She has experience in supervising primary data collection, conducting field research, data analysis, developing survey tools, project management, and academic writing. Her technical expertise includes proficiency in STATA, Microsoft Excel, and PowerPoint. Her research interests include Environmental Economics, Development Economics, Gender Equality, and Social Protection. She aspired to contribute to evidence-based policymaking and sustainable development through rigorous, data-driven research.
