About the project

Partner: Foreign, Commonwealth and Development Office (FCDO)
Project duration: December 2025-January 2026

The objective of this study is to develop a clear, evidence-based understanding of the current state of engagement of Bangladesh’s ICT sector with the UK market, with a particular focus on identifying existing barriers, operational constraints, competitive strengths, and untapped potential for expanding exports of IT and ITeS services from Bangladesh to the UK. As part of the research methodology, we plan to conduct structured consultations with 15–20 IT and ITeS firms that preferably have experience working with, or targeting, the UK market. Insights from these firms will be instrumental in shaping realistic policy and market-oriented recommendations.
