Md Hasin Israq is a Research Officer at RAPID and a graduate in Economics from the University of Dhaka. His research interests focus on trade economics as well as climate, energy, and environmental economics, developed through extensive research internship experience at SANEM, where he contributed to nationally and internationally collaborative projects covering energy transition, climate finance, inflation, and economic security. He possesses strong expertise in data analysis and visualization, with applied experience using tools such as Stata and Python in policy-oriented research. Beyond research, Hasin demonstrates proven leadership and communication skills, having served as the Team Leader of Bangladesh at the 20th South Asian Economics Students Meet (SAESM) and held multiple leadership roles across academic and extracurricular platforms, including competitive debating and research coordination.
